¡Hola chicos!
Yesterday we (Alan and me) experienced the statistics about country safety. It is said that Argentina is the safest country in south america, and brasil ranks somewhere near the top. Two guys on a mobilette yesterday tried to rob us, threatening with something like an alarm-pistol: it smokes, makes noise, but doesn´t really kill, so they didn´t get much. We were just walking alongside the mainroad going from brasil to argentina. Life is better over here, definitely, apart from they who want to grab a girl, but then go farther away from the border.
Going back to BA today, and I don´t want to. Met Marcia yesterday and want to get to know her better, but feck it, I need a job if I am going to survive.
Somebody buy a 1st class flatbed seat on the bus from Iguazú to Buenos Aires? I paid 115 ARS, you can have it for 100.
I am crying for Atgentina, but what can I do?????????
Cheerio

Makes me think about the time when I was visiting Liesbeth and Tom in Namibia. Just before nightfall, two very little boys approach me to ask for money and threaten with an icepick. Me - finding this rather amusing - showing them my camper knife and saying "And I've got a knife with a spoon". Result: everybody LOL and the two kid-robbers ending up with some money nevertheless ;-)
